Timer suggestion

Not sure about everyone else, but just to rehash i hate that people standing up and sitting down resets the clock to 40 seconds.
Why not just start the clock when 5 players sit and then run it down. If 3 of them stand up, the other guys can play heads up. If someone sits with 1 second to go, just keep it running. Why the flying fuck does it have to reset? |

just to prevent trolling. 5 people waiting forever for 2k to start? wait until timer to get to 3 seconds... then sit in as brown, then stand out. repeat, laugh, and get people angry. |

Surely it's better to have spectators waiting to play than having players wanting to play, but unable. Joints - I wasn't talking to you specifically, so take your blinders off. The suggestion isn't just to allow heads up play straight off the bat which I agree can provide an easy mechanism to funnel points. It's to just not reset the clock once 5 people sit. If you can organize 5 people with 2k who are willing to conspire to funnel one player without anyone seeing it, good luck to them I say. A minority of players might find a way to exploit it, a majority of players will probably enjoy not having to wait 45 minutes for a game to start. |
