Do I have to buy a new computer only to play KDice or would you be so kind to help?

Only KDice is lagging like hell for me, everything else (browser games, videos etc.) works. I could only play and chat here if I refreshed the page after everything I post in chat + at the beginning of each turn.

This happens no matter what account I use, but logging in from another PC all's fine.
As far as I can tell it started with some big update you did a few months back. I tried deleting cookies and stuff and attempting it on different browsers with no results and the same problems.

I also tried reinstalling Flash and Java.

Sometimes it tells me this when I try to refresh:
/table/chat failed.
/me/leave failed.

I used a cross site scripting trick to get all your browsers using the same instance of swf using a special set of defaults. You are going to have to wait until Ryan makes this game full html5+ compatible.

Sorry if I offended you, I tried to put some humor into this thread - obviously I failed... Should have known, I usually do on this site ;-)

On the topic: I seriously do not see how anybody should be able to solve a problem that happens on a single computer without having access to that computer. So, without trolling or anything, I do not thing Ryan has a chance to help you here (and I love to blame him for about anything including my bad strategy)...

Fine, honest answer said you said "pls" twice. You need a new laptop. It is incompatible with the new HTLM5 ryan is putting in. Since you can't upgrade your browsers enough due to the level of your OS, you need to full OS upgrade, or just get a new laptop in case your laptop (or PC, not sure) is too old to allow such and OS upgrade. If you were to give me more details on laptop/PC; Windows/OSX/Lunix (or other *nix flavor); your version of said OS, your browswer's and their versions and the current version of the java jre (Java Runtime Environment), there is not anyone here can do for you.

Unless you really trust someone to remote desktop into your machine and troubleshoot for you.

Or take it into a shop and have them help you, but that will cost you $$$.
