You're right thrillho, I have given him plenty of chances but my patience has grown very thin now. If his offences had been more about cheating, he would have been permabanned already. He can be extremely annoying but that in itself can't be a reason to permaban someone. Nevertheless, it seems like he never learns.

I'm not going to ask the community to be nice to him but it would put more pressure on him if no one provoked or mocked him. If he trolls or lashes out at someone unprovoked, he will get a 3 month ban. After that, permaban. If it's really too excessive, it will be a permaban right away.

If I see someone trying to trick him into bad responses, obviously I will be more tolerant for him (to a certain degree).

I advised him to be the better man and walk away from hate speech fights from now on (for his own good). It would certainly improve the atmosphere in general if everyone would stay away from attacks below the belt and simply focus on having a good game.

basically you told him to stick to his guns which means to unban him in a week which was the orginal plan

Actually - sticking to his guns was in relation to the fact that he was on his 8th "last chance" in January and has been banned four times since. I guess that makes this his 12th last chance. So sticking to his guns (given all of the bans have come from him) would be to just leave him banned and stop giving him additional "last" chances.

Fatman - I actually asked him if he thought I rode around on kangaroos and hunted crocodiles. The "insult" itself doesn't bother me at all, it just seems like his sole purpose here is to be obnoxious or offensive. If he wants to be banned so badly, let him stay banned and be done with it.
