Hmm. For some reason people seem less motivated to discuss this time around. Wonder why?

Representatives to Congress and the President should be randomly selected from voters rolls and mandated to serve strict term limits. Fuck this political economy and the corruption and outright stupidity it has given us.

Obama isn't the President many want, but he is exactly the President we deserve. He is the embodiment of our current political and popular culture. Vehemently striving to be inclusive and unoffensive yet ridiculously divisive and ultimately ineffective for the effort.

I would be all of the old school Athenian Democracy style of government.

Has anyone seen a survey on the % of people that support term limits? I would guess it would be quite high.

I like Sam's summation a lot.

I think we could realistically accomplish a lot by taking the funding out of politics. Lobbyists and such were the beginning of the shitshow that is american politics - to me at least.

Buy votes one vote per dollar and if your side loses you get your money back.
