Hello community and sincere mods,
I wanted to inform you that I went on a hunger strike. I did not eat for 88 days now. For the greater good. KDice changed. I speak for 99.4% of the community when I say KDice just is not the same anymore. Something, or better someone is missing. Someone who brightened up everyone's life on KDice. The glaring injustice committed to him by our highly respected mods Vermont and jurgen turned KDice into a dark, sorrowful and unhealthy place. Don't we all want to take delight in playing this game? That's what I am here for at least and I know the community agrees with me. By sentencing sac_lunch and taking away his legendary and heart-rejoicing manner of speaking you eliminated one of the greatest fun factors. jurgen. I am sure this is the first mistake you ever made in your long time as a mod, but you can't ignore vox populi forever. Free King Sac! |

at 9:25 PM, Wednesday September 4, 2013 EDT how is it that people who pga (something that objectively ruins the game and is unavoidable in 99.9% of the cases) get multiple chances under jurgen yet sac only gets 2 chances for swearing in chat (something that only SUBjectively ruins the game -- imo makes it funny most of the time -- and is 100% avoidable with the mute command)?
he wasnt even racist or something abhorrent like that, he just swore a few times and made fun of someone. why is there this inconsistency in moderation? frankly it wouldnt matter to me if sac stayed perma-muted if things that were ACTUALLY IMPORTANT to the play of the game were treated with the same harshness. lets remember here that the post that got sac re-muted was a simple copy/paste, not even a screenshot. i thought screenshots were the minimum allowed for proof of rules violations (of which making fun of someone is not one btw)? another inconsistency in the moderation of this case and frankly yet another reason in my mind that jurgen has absolutely 0 credibility and probably never will |
