I think its lots of fun, but here are my observations so far:
1. The luck swings seem way more dramatic than at regular tables. There are times when a player can win 90% of their games for a 10-20 game stretch based purely on start position and the other player losing +2/+3 rolls. Feels broken in one person's favor at times.
2. There is a large amount of lag there, every once in a while costing someone a game.
3. Dom doesn't kick in until round 4
4. Playing 1v1 games completely eliminates PGA. However funneling clearly becomes the thing to watch for.
5. You don't have to wait for a table to fill up, so you can play quicker.
6. Dice strategy skill becomes far more important than social manipulation. This can be good or bad depending on your view of the game.
7. Its another solution to games where people flag and 1st sits and waits for people to fight for low spots. The winner gets to do a lot of attacking which makes it more fun to win.
8. 3 person games suck
9. It takes people away from normal 2k/5k games.
10. You can gain 50-100k in a day without funneling.
