Continuous bad luck... Coincidence???

I don't get this...Don't wont to sound paranoid but I have noticed that some days bad luck seems to continue almost every game..
Here is My December 6 luck stats: 0.6 % (lost 5 vs 2) 40.5% 44.5% 38.2% 45.2% I did have one over 50% but after loosing 5v2 it got too much. Seems like if your day starts bad it continues that way. Maybe I'm just frustrated but I don't think such luck (not the first time) matches any kind of normal probability. |

If you keep flipping a coin, there will be streaks of 7 or 8 heads in a row sometimes. The same holds for roulette, etc where you might see red in streaks of 10 or more sometimes. Combine this kind of occurrence with the fact that we are 3 or 4 times as likely to remember negative events over positive ones and you get to the belief that you posted here.
If you really want to test it, play 10-20 games a day. Note your luck in first game, then compare to your luck over the day. If you do this for 10 or 20 days, you'll see there is no correlation. |

I've watched BJ's games. She does not try to suicide every game. In fact she plays to win just as much as anyone I've seen. And, way back when, we DID run some statistics on the so-called 'cursed' accounts, and found that indeed they were rolling significantly lower than expected (p=0.0001 or so). |
