At his latest appearance he said the following:
"We had reversed the recession, avoided a depression, gotten the economy moving again," Obama told a crowd in Decorah, Iowa. "But over the last six months we've had a run of bad luck." Obama listed three events overseas -- the Arab Spring uprisings, the tsunami in Japan, and the European debt crises -- which set the economy back. So basically his latest story is now; "I fixed the recessions but then Egypt; Japan; and Europe screwed it up." This man is a complete and utter failure... Instead of manning up and correcting his failed policies; he has decided to go down in flames while pointing the finger at everyone else. http://campaign2012.washingtonexaminer.com/blogs/beltway-confidential/obama-i-reversed-recession-until-bad-luck-hit |

at 3:14 PM, Wednesday August 24, 2011 EDT I have no problem being too closed minded to give any serious consideration to Libertarianism. I would never read Ayn Rand. In my opinion that's a virtue.
The little interest I have in libertarianism stems from morbid curiosity; like the impulse that drives people to watch gore films or to slow down as they pass an accident on the freeway. |

at 3:19 PM, Wednesday August 24, 2011 EDT Any job creating/demand increasing legislation Obama has been for has been severely opposed by the house republicans (see healthcare bill and stimulus package). Rich people with disposable income don't create jobs, demand creates jobs. And so far the GOP has enacted and endorsed policies that would only diminish demand.

He doesn't invest in jobs, he invests in entitlements. Spend the money.....fine.....but at least spend it wisely. |

Boogy; I guess ignorance is bliss. At least now I know that all your questions about my politics are just facetious; why do that to me? |
