What exactly did you have to test Amber? If you could see the options then it obviously worked and if for some reason there was a bug you could have waited and contacted Thraxle or Ryan and given the contribution at a later date.

Honestly telling everyone it was just a test is basically calling us stupid. Don't get all huffy when people call you out on it.

Sometimes mod powers don't work. I've seen it happen plenty of times that newly instated mods have problems with their mod abilities. I don't see anything wrong with testing function like contributor badges, Thraxle certainly did. And so have other mods. Why do you care yodel?

I'd be curious to know how many mods did a test ban or something when they were first given abilities by Ryan. I know I had a test ban/unban just to see how things worked, how long it took to be effective, etc. While I'm not a fan of giving lame contributions (ahem TCS) I can understand the desire to try out new functionality.

Vermont I saw you and rowdy do test bans on alts. You did it with the words Test in the explanation.

If amber had wanted to test a contribution you should have tested it on an alt with the words test...So that everyone will know it's a test.


Just saying it seems like cocksalot talked himself in a + by a niave mod who should really and truely stick to the x-sketch land.
