FOREX-Dollar tumbles to 3-yr low; data underpins rate view

Unfortunately the above headlines will only continue to get worse as we QE3. All this will continue; until Keynes is rejected and substituted for another (probably Austrian). |

at 8:55 PM, Sunday May 8, 2011 EDT honestly, i would rather live in a dorm surrounded by coeds all my life than have to work a job and meet girls at places other than my bed in the morning. but no dead, i actually have my own place right now and it's pretty dope.
here's an example of deregulation aka conservative fiscal policy: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glass%E2%80%93Steagall_Act#Events_following_repeal regulation is what you need for a proper economy to function without hitches. and anyhow, to the guy who posted above me keynes isn't something you can subscribe to or disprove, keynesian economics is akin to newtonion physics. you personally may not understand it but it doesn't mean it's false. in fact if anything this recent financial debacle the directly proceeded deregulation (after DECADEDS of boom) proves keynes was right. you need the government or some other such institution to regulate the markets or else you will end up with speculations on everything and anything. and frankly, we already have something like that, it's called gambling and it's illegal in 48 states. |

LOOOOL, this is soo wrong, you should take a time out. theory means school of thought, or explanation. commonly used theories include; cell theory germ theory atom theory theory of gravity number theory etc |

at 11:56 AM, Monday May 9, 2011 EDT what you said is correct Mr. K, but deadcode is still right as well. theories are not proven. that's why they're not called fact.

at 12:08 PM, Monday May 9, 2011 EDT nope, you are wrong harry. theories cannot be facts
a fact is a confirmed observation, a theory is an explanation of corelations, and what depends on what, a theory will include a myriad of facts and laws. the theory of gravity includes observations about the paths of the planet, laws about the equations that governs their movement. "A scientific theory can be thought of as a model of reality" and a model can never be a fact, it cannot be proven EVER. you would not call a theory a fact even if you could prove it. In math, they still call it a theory even when it is proven. if I want to make a kdice comparason, facts are points, but theories is monthly placements. you cannot make a good trophie without many facts to support it (a fact in science is a confirmed observation). if the theory is good, then you get a trophie (this comparison is perhaps not the best, but the point is that a theory is a different thing than a fact, and the main difference is not if its proven or not, bc in math you can proven theories) |
