thou shall not kill i think god is disappointed by everyone involved here. that being said, lets take God out of this pls. what a pointless diversion from something important. i agree with marx that the reason why osama was willing to declare a jihad on the US should be addressed. chalmers johnson, a former cia asia specialist writes on this topic and does a good critique of us policy in regard to its relation with the world post ww2. http://www.americanempireproject.com/johnson/index.asp that being said, the world isnt just an intellectual activity and there are things beyond our scope happening. if i were to ask someone to explain a war they would give me a constructed image that is made up primarily of 3rd party information. even if they were there their personal experience harldy would constitute the full meaning of war. we arent **** generals and NONE OF US knows wtf is really going on. to my final points in summation, i think war is horrible. the US has extended beyond its proper scope of material influence globally. the US was more than justified in killing osama on sight, he has unapologetically accepted responsibility. war and international governance/decision making is complicated and we should not pretend know everything. |

i didnt like seeing all the youth out partying last night like we had just won the world cup. though it didnt really compare to madrid '10, those kids were like 10-13 when it happened, it made me sad. how about a vigil in remembrance of the fallen? that would be better |

but i don't particularly see why it's my responsibility to tell you how and why I'm right and you're wrong...I'm content with just telling you you're wrong I Will tell you this if you study some of the prominent works and modern theories centered around examining heterosexuality, homosexuality, bisexuality, etc. from a scientific perspective, then you'll see where I'm coming from...and you'll see how many philosophers and theorists offer that true homosexuality does not exist. if that doesnt make sense to you...oh well!. TBH I don't expect for you to be able to come to ANY logical conclusions, considering that you're claiming homosexuality. That by itself lets me know you're a few symptoms short of the loony bin...bc you can't be a homosexual (really trav, live and let live, lay off of thrax) |

God doesn't like hypocrisy, either. |

I agree that perhaps partying like crazy was not the best reaction. However, I was 10 during 9/11 and I was scared out of my pants. I had family in the pentagon, as well as family on a trip to nyc at the time (my uncle was actually supposed to be in the wtc that day but he was too tired). I'm pretty sure I have just as much a right as anyone to react in whatever manner I feel is appropriate. |
