and on topic: since it's only the alt that got banned I think BR just fired a warning shot. I am sure it won't be 30 days if you prove on your other accounts that you play fair (and I'm sure you'll be watched). So look at it as an opportunity instead of a punishment: more time to play the main and to get more points on that account :-) |

A truce, either open or silent, is not an alliance. It is an agreement between two parties not to attack each other. It does not create an obligation to help the partner in regard to third parties, it merely frees the partner in making plans with respect to third parties. "So, you are either banned for funneling points for no in-game justification, or you are banned for being such a terrible truce partner that the truce was not able to be perceived." |

at 1:07 PM, Sunday October 24, 2010 EDT actually skumager, in kdice terms a truce is an alliance.
it started out as you say, but then, since the two people making the truce gainede a benefit, other people started to counterattack, thus making the truce into an alliance. so TRUCE = ALLIANCE |

at 3:03 PM, Sunday October 24, 2010 EDT Mr K is right, technically, there is a difference but most people just treat truce and alliance the same way. If someone asks me to truce, I assume we try to finish 1/2.
If someone tries to flag 2nd when 2 other players truced, the answer of most people is "sorry, we truced, 3rd is best you can get" After KDice was created, people started using specific words for game related stuff, so we now have our own KDice lingo: truce/countertruce; connect (link is shorter so could just as easily have become the standard word for connecting); stab (betrayal or something); cut (why not split?); etc |

at 4:05 PM, Sunday October 24, 2010 EDT A countertruce implies nothing more than an agreement to destroy the trucers.
If I have joined a countertruce I may sacrifice a place advantage if that will help the objectives of a countertruce. A countertruce is not an alliance, so a countercountertruce is not an alliance. |

at 4:16 PM, Sunday October 24, 2010 EDT skum, I am not arguing about how you enterpate the words, I am arguing about what the words mean i the comunity. specificly higher tables.
if anyone "truces" it means and alliance. this is how people enterpate it, it is the lingo of the komunity. |

at 4:39 PM, Sunday October 24, 2010 EDT Skum: In the Dungeons & Dragons fantasy roleplaying game, the skum is a fish-like aberration.
Description A skum resembles an ugly, black/dark green fish-humanoid, with muscular limbs, hands and feet which are both webbed and clawed, very veiny and tight-packed flesh, a tail, and fins protruding from the head, tail and underarms. The skum lives in watery grottoes and caves in broods of 2 to 5 individuals or packs of 6 to 15. As its name suggests, it is a rather scummy creature, and could be described almost as an underwater equivalent of an ogre or minotaur. They speak Aquan, and are lawful evil in alignment. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skum |
