How about a medal off?

ok, apparently roll off is under discussion so I figured I would look for a good alternative that wasn't too disadvantageous for myself
I like the joke off idea but I get mixed responses about my jokes so I better play safe. So how about medal offs? In case of two people wanting a position but no easy fight options, if 1st decides it's a medal off, the player with most medals wins highest spot. top25 medals count double and top 3 counts triple. Now I just need to avoid about 20 people for a medal off :-) Another alternative: a rank off: player who is highest in the month ranking gets highest place |

and how about insult offs (maybe a variation of the joke off)? Player A and B have to battle for x/x+1. option 1) player A insults player B ; player B then insults player A ; 1st then deicdes places based on the quality of the insult option 2) player A insults player B ; player B can chose to give a comeback to A instead of a new insult; 1st then deicdes places based on the quality of the insult and the comeback option 3) (if player A thinks B made a great comeback)player A insults player B ; player B gives a comeback to A instead of a new insult; player A can give a comeback on that; etc for B again... until 1st deicdes places based on the quality of the comebacks would be fun but maybe not endorsed by the gods of kdice |
