Obviously I'm starting Flacco most weeks, but they play the Jets with newly signed Revis this week. Do I go with Stafford or Young instead for Week 1?

at 9:20 AM, Wednesday September 8, 2010 EDT Dixon might, and I mean MIGHT, serve as a serviceable backup someday. But I no way shape or form is he going to score better than Flacco - and probably not Stafford or Young. Plus, Big Ben is only out 4 weeks, so it's not really looking DOWN THE ROAD to pick him up in the first place.
You're an idiot. |

at 10:14 AM, Wednesday September 8, 2010 EDT If you have been paying attention, Big Ben isn't a lock for the starting job come week 5. Should Dixon tear it up he could be starting the rest of the season. I'm not saying this will happen but I do believe there is a chance it could. As for this week I still think Young is the better start over Flacco/Stafford. But if you wont pick him up this week for a bench spot keep a close eye on how he does so you can go for him should he play well.

at 10:22 PM, Monday September 13, 2010 EDT I'll quote myself:
"Starting Flacco is too much of a risk this week, Jets have had a great defense and I wouldn't be surprised if Flacco had 2 turnovers, one fumble and an interception." Guess what? Flacco had one fumble and one interception. (this is directed toward the haters, not you, thrax) |
