meh, in my experience (which ofc is limited, durrrr), when i walked through the projects in richmond, and got to know a lot of the community, i honestly didnt get the feeling that they had an intense desire to provide for their themselves. there was a decent proportion who wanted their kids to have a better life, and this was reflected by them working whatever oddjobs they could get... but i felt there was a larger proportion who were more than content to just stay there since the govt provided them enough to raise their family. and im talking about 95% women, all the men were MIA. very sad community, needed a lot of love and stronger male leadership imo.

btw. Norway is not the best example, because Norway is an oil-nation... its like they always got +32
