We just went thru this shit less than 6 months ago, yeah I know. I am going to mail Thrax to see where he is. I'm only seen him once in the last month. Some users have said that the site is and does need a few more MODs. I think 5-6 maybe as many as 8.
Who does the community think is good quality players. I know there will be alot of this person is a dick and that person is an ass... Nothing new. So who would you like to see in charge? |

Since the game has been under modded since forever and everyone knows there is widespread cheating, why would making the #1 "player" a mod. Wouldn't that that be sorta like pissing in your own cereal? I really don't think I could become a mod. I would probably ban around 50 people within the first week and then go after people I don't know about. I would either get booted by Ryan or the cheaters would finally leave, or the site would crash from all the people hacking it. This kinda change would be too stressful for most people to take and they would jump of a bridge and I would face criminal charges somewhere. |

People that he's friendly to one game he'd gladly mash their nuts the next game if it meant another 500 points for him. He's #1 all-time due to rarely taking breaks and always exploiting situations to maximize points. He has consistently changed with the game and adjusted to the playing style of each era. Nobody is more knowledgeable or more qualified. Few will disagree with this.

There are only a select group of people on 2ks and 5ks, so obviously players have their preference as to who they are nice neigbors with and who they are more inclined to truce. I think the addition of Sam as a mod, as well as others, could help to stop PGA. We need mods in more than one time zone though, and we also need mods to stop harassment, cursing, etc. I'm in the middle of writing a paper so I'm not gonna get into this, but basically we need like 10 mods.

I will withhold my specific opinions on some of the current mods, but generally I have to say that this site has the most arbitrary and subjective modding of any community I have ever experienced. BTW, I still support Rowdy for mod. |
