I think pat and zoid would fall under the crowed of people who shouldn't smoke because they do it for the wrong reasons.

If you view it like alcohol or tobacco you can make much more reasoned arguments for legalization. The only rational arguments against it are based on moral issues relating to the ammount of vice and corruption we already subject ourselves and our society to. Now I think these people have giant sticks up their asses but it is a legitimate argument. Other then that it is just silly to think weed is on a worse level compared to alcohol or tobacco, they all have issues with abuse and health effects.

But yeah this won't pass, but it should be an interesting debate.

Well Sam once again you have proved that you cannot think outside your tiny lil box in which YOU are the principle component.

Smoking weed is less harmful than alcohol as a social cost and while smoking anything is harmful to your body Cannabis actually has cancer reducing properties. I believe I stated that the main reason this will pass is because it is going to save the taxpayers 6 BILLION DOLLARS A YEAR in enforcement costs.

@Zoid I inferred that you did because you said that weed wouldn't be cool if it were legal. I guess you are not looking forward to your future uncool status? :P I can assure you that going to prison for weed is way uncool.
