reminds me of a time a couple years back where i tried to prove this point to Ryan in a low-point game with him. i had the obv easy start that was destined for 1st. when the 2nd place guy flagged to me i said, forget that, Ryan is getting 1st. and then wrecked 2nd. Ryan got upset at it all, and started attacking me, even though he was a weak 3rd. i kept him larger than last place so he couldnt instaflag out. then killed everyone else but him and a 1-territory weakling, then lagged out.

needless to say, Ryan didnt find it amusing.

monte, its worth discussing how fair it is to rarely ever attack someone or what to do when someone never attacks you (hello murti).

but its worse when people ignore flags or legit truce offers to itnentionally improve your friend's position (hello sam, das) or to flag then backstab (even though you cant get postion higher than u flagged for) just to improve your firend's position (hello jesse, travis)
