Dear KDice Community, Moderators, and Ryan:

For well over three years the PGA culture has been deeply embedded in the KDice community. PGA has become the status quo, despite serious efforts on the part of Ryan and his team of dedicated moderators to attempt to change the culture. Myself and integral have recently expressed serious remorse in any part we may have played in creating or nurturing this culture in 2007. I am writing this open letter to the community in a heartfelt attempt to bring about a serious and much needed change in the general accepted style of gameplay on this site.

The level of social networking and unfair play has increased so much here, that it has never been possible to compete seriously in the monthly competition without nurturing special relationships with a select few players. Often this can be explained through normal social mechanisms, through true game theory, or other half assed explanations. The truth of the matter is, a huge percentage of the KDice population openly and knowingly favors certain players over others, fracturing the community into different cliques of PGA groups.

I see no alternative at this point save a drastic action akin to the slaughter of the Knights Templar. It is with no light sentiment that I openly ask for the carreer point reset of every player in the top 100 who continues to this day to play KDice unfairly.

Attached I have listed those players in the top 100 whom it is *personally known to me* continue to cheat at KDice. Take it for what you will.

Also, a short video of the #1 and #2 ranked KDice players, PGAing together. Surely no surprise.

Thanks for your time.

It is my belief that no amount of moderation, screen shoting, video taking or anything else will stop people from playing the way they play.

Plus the community is so big now that it's not just 1 or 2 people who pga, it's an entire community of players that know how other players play and so adjust their playing style accordingly.

The only way to really change the culture is to redefine the scoring system, incorporate some kind of team oriented playing and have more user interaction with the website (user created tournies and maps for instance).

Another way is to engage the 90% of players that just play this game for shits and giggles.
