alex, you posting this thread doesnt add anything to the threats that thrax posted last week telling people to take screenshots and videos. now the cheaters just know to avoid you.

the best way to catch cheaters is to lay low and keep pretending youre a noob. you dont announce to them that you are trying to catch them. ask any law enforcement agency.

thrax has made the public announcement and threat. now its up to the rest of kdice to gather the evidence. and you wont gather nearly as much incriminating evidence if you announce publicly that you are on the look out.


CLIFF NOTES:
publicly showing everyone that you have the ability to post videos will 1) NOT lessen the amount of cheating much at all, but 2) will alert the cheaters to cheat in the 99% of games they dont play with you, and just PGE you for the 1% they play with you.

If i don't gather evidence then that means there isn't evidence to gather which means there is less cheating going on in the game; perfect :)

that is a very selfish goal. but you will accomplish it, congrats. people will not pga in too blatant a way against you. now you just force them to blatantly pga against others so they wont get caught.

the goal is to catch the cheaters, not just make them avoid you. thats like putting up a supersecurity system on your house, and declaring success, when really the thiefs are still free and breaking into every other house in the neighborhood. i bet your neighbors really love you for that great help.

im not against what youre doing. im just saying there is no point in publicizing it. the only thing that publicizing does is give you fair games, but does nothing as far as eradicating the cheaters from the site.
