No, it's just you're not curious. I know the american way of thinking, what do u think... You're just like the majority. And no I dont "hate" the USA (what does it maean, hate ?). I hate injustice and your country is the land of injustice, not "freedom" ! lol |

Ya, from a particular point of view, you're right. But only because i think it's the only "solution" for your country to change to be better. And for the whole world to be better too. |

And again you are making assumptions. I AM curious about the rest of the world, and I do keep up on world events, I just don't really care to see it in person. I mean, I'm curious about the Middle East and what it's like there...........doesn't mean I'm gonna get in a plane and go visit. |

You're so incredibly naive. As funny as sad. the mliddle east ?! But what do u know about middle east ?! What... how do u call it ?... CNN and the other shit there... hmmm... "stupid and balanced" something like that... say about it ?! Pfff. u dont know anything then. |

Even if I travel to some other country, it won't be to live there. It won't be to pay their taxes. It won't be to vote in their elections. It won't be to go to a job there. So what will I learn by visiting one of these places? What can't I learn by searching the internet? What news agency do you suggest I listen to? Where does Charlie think I should get my information? If you are so educated on the ways of the world then teach me. What good is it to say I'm naive or stupid? |

at 9:48 AM, Wednesday March 3, 2010 EST The first thing to be well informed is NOT watching the TV. It's the same problem everywhere even if yours is spefically idiot.
Second point, prefer the press. Third, read the international press from other countries (that's why learning another language is usefull. Try the Brit one then. Why not indian or canadian eventually ? I dont know, what u want but another one than the US in complement) to see other points of view and make your idea. Fourth, why not reading arabian press reviews too, just to see what they say if you're interested by the middle east as u say. To compare and understand what they really think even if you dont agree. Fith. Never trust any media. Just try to compare and understand, that's the point. If you do that, it's almost perfect. It takes time... But you can just begin by opening an atlas sometimes !!! |
