Dete, the current struggles in the Middle East have everything to do with religion.

There may be financial interests that keep us in the Middle East these days, but we would have never gone back there if some Islmaic dudes didn't wreck NYC.

Hitler was born into the Catholic faith. Hitler had Amazingly large book burnings of the Bible. Hitler was not by any stretch of the imagination a Christian.

Das i can see why one would think that the current wars in the middle east are religious based. And i can be persuaded that they are. but like monte kinda said. Religion doesn't start conflict. However it can be used to manipulate the masses into conflict. There have been very few wars that can be justified by the doctrines of the religion that "started" it.
