You guys just couldn't finish, overall you played pretty well, 45-23 in shots shows thats. I wouldn't worry too much a game like this might just be what you guys needed to set some fire under your ass.

I like seeing a younger USA team, not quite the star power of some of the other countries but maybe we can get on the podium.

Multiple Personality Disorder FTW

Canada didn't play bad against the US, Brodeur wasn't his best but he only allowed 1 goal off a misplay, and he did make some good saves. You guys can makes shots at will, you just need to finish them. The US defense did a great job of cleaning up rebounds off Miller, and as great as Miller was he did have a number of loose pucks come off him after some of his saves, there was just a defensemen there to clear it most times.

Getting the #1 seed is pretty nice for the US too, only real strong team we will have to face before the potential gold medal game would be Finland or Czech Republic.

I mean like, we should worry, but I think we can still get the gold.
