Automatic renewal of membership

I don't like this at all. I don't like it when the big guys do it, I don't like it when a small guy like Ryan do it. I feel like someone is stealing from my bank account when it happens. Plus, I don't remember receiving a email before it automatically stole the money in my bank account.
Ryan, you should change the way memberships get renewed to a more transparent way, and an easy way opt out. |

at 6:49 AM, Monday January 4, 2010 EST totally aggree with the initial posting, i also felt like being robbed when the money for the monthly membership was withdrawn from my account... and canceling that via paypal INDEED was superfucked up, it took me ~5 tries and 10 minutes of time to do it the right way. change that, damnit, or at least make it more transparent. it's not clear enough that the membership renews itself.

I really cannot believe how inept Ryan is at managing this site. He has consistenly proven that he does not care about the competitive integrity of the games or the monthly competition. He steals money from people by not allowing them to cancel memberships. He unfairly deals punishments to players for random reasons (including banning Cody from the site and look what happened). I hope nobody bumps this post because I already regret stirring up the drama, its just a shame that such a fun game is ruined by inept management. |
