which, tbh, is pretty well reflected in career points (except if they were all renormalized to 100k max per month, which would put less emphasis on the inflation of recent months and more emphasis on september 2007).

as far as maintaining dominance, i agree with the career points for a start. id put sam at #1, das at #2. i wouldnt put voh at #3 though (no offense eddie), because he has never gotten a 1st, and the one time he had a shot, it reeked of fieros taint. and, to be narcissistic, ive had a lot more golds yanked out of my k-grasp than you have voh.

so #3 id put either me or shad. if shad were to put up one more gold medal, id put him at 2nd overall, just behind sam. on the next tier down, i would put rnd/Gurgi/fiero, who all have excelled excellently in their own ways but also have pretty big minuses (rnd hasnt played in forever due to bannings, Gurgi has only played a short time, and most of his success comes from member tourneys, and fiero more often than not avoided competition at the top tables, but would play friend-dice on the 500s so that he could win skrums tazd contests).

as far as the short-lived wonders... grun/xluckx/jeremyS(imho). they all played extremely well, but for an extremely short time.

it would be great fun if we would all play a competitive month together again. but, lets be honest, we all know that wont happen again.

in the end, i very much respect everyone's ability to play this game. we all have our different strengths. but in order to be at the top, i really believe that you have to be an asshole of sorts, and have an obscene amount of time. its not just table foresight, but moreso chatboxing and friend-dice.

and verms, i dont think chase understood your joke. i lol'd at it tho ;)

every time i see TheBitterYodel playing a lot in a month, i invest in kleenex stock.
