i am deeply disappointed, but now at least i have a reason to troll politically, now before i get to the part of my argument that will make sense, i would like to say that the republican party has far more vocal fucktards than the democrats have, and you left something pretty important out thrax: he called the white policeman an idiot for arresting a well educated black man FOR BREAKING INTO HIS OWN HOUSE. the main point of that whole story was the fact that if you have a white man with a sweater vest and patches on his elbows trying to break into a house in a wealthy neighborhood, no one calls the cops, but replace the white man with a black man and the authorities are immediately notified.

the main reason (reasonably politically aware) people voted for obama was not because they thought that he would be the savior of the economy, the environment, health care and race relations, they elected him because of his party affiliation. obama openly admits it (basically) in most of his campaigning by postering CHANGE on every other street corner, more or less saying 'hey! vote for me, i am the polar opposite of bush, and i think we can all agree he was shitty.' you have to hand it to him thrax, the thing obama is the best at is campaigning.

and as far as promises broken goes, let me start a list of things he has actually delivered on
-expand loan programs for small businesses
-directed the military to end the war in iraq
-boost troops in Afghanistan
-leniency for cuban-american citizens
-push for alternative energies
-boost scientific research
-various things to protect the environment
-boost space research with private sector funds, not public money
i mean, that sounds like a whole lot more than bush could have done in a year, but meh, im a liberal, sorta biased. but there are viarious things that are still works in progress, like healthcare and housing. although he hasnt completely solved those problems yet, he is working on it. rome wasnt rebuilt in a day?

and also, the main reason people didnt turn out to the polls was that the people that obama coerced into voting in '08 (the people who would be benefitting from his liberal economic views) could really care less about representative elections.

as a matter of fact i do, but the fact of the matter is, that a black professor was arrested in a wealthy white neighborhood, factually speaking. and the factionalism is a major factor as to why the media paints obama as a racist when the facts clearly point out that he is not.

Yo Thrax, I didn't vote for him because he's black. He's done some of the things he's promised already, but I didn't know we should judge him on fulfilling all his promises in 10 months...interesting idea though.

-Health care bill is being worked on and its congress, not Obama, causing a delay.
-Troop withdrawal strategy has been implemented in Iraq and military focus is beginning to draw back towards Afghanistan.
-Gitmo is being shut down.
-Economy is turning around, saw the other day that economists are saying its already turned the corner, though unemployment should take longer to get over

Not to mention the immediate complete overhaul the perception of the US took around the world, but you probably hate all them foreigners anyway, right?
