Regardless, I root for the American League since that is where my loyalties lie. So i was happy with the outcome. Not to mention the Baltimore Orioles were moved to New York in 1901 and became the Yankees.

What is cool about the Yankees win is that, they won their first WS in the first year of 'old' Yankee Stadium in 1923. This year, their first in 'new' Yankee Stadium we see the same result.
