for the love of God Ryan, if you code the ability for mods to dock points, please include a simple check that the number of points docked cannot be negative.

cus honestly anyone who becomes a mod will continually be faced with the question of "what would i be willing to sacrifice my mod-status for?", especially in times when they are extremely frustrated by the site (like if everyone hates them or whatever).

thats another thing we must all be wary of: at some point the mod will lose interest in the site, and decide its not worth his/her time. you must be sure when choosing mods that these mods, when this happens, are the kinds of personalities that will silently inform you over email, hey dude, my time is up, thanks for letting me be a mod. and then let you take away their priviliges. there are definitely people who are lobbying to be mods who are the opposite and, when realizing that they dont want to use any more time on this site, will have an intense desire to go down in a blaze of glory.

dont hire that type of mod, obv.

btw leek was in the cabal for months and then ratted everyone out in the end. i did all that pga stuff for one month only and started with the intention to bring pga players like fiero down. sadly ryan didn't listen to either of us...

Hi Ryan, I'd like to thank you for your speedy response to my email the last time and I appreciate you taking the time to reply. At this present time I would like to request a position as a moderater on kdice.

When you made Thraxle/KDICEMOD a moderator you showed the site that you took a firm stance against cheaters and that that kind of behaviour would not be tolerated. So far Thraxle has shown himself to be a very competent moderator who has promoted fair play countless times in your name. But personally I believe that kdice is too big now for just one man to moderate. Thraxle cannot devote all his time to moderate kdice and that is why I think another mod would be a great idea.

But why should I be chosen as a moderator? Well I believe that I have shown my loyalty to you, to the site and to fair play in general by my actions last month. I would if chosen operate a system where if you were caught breaking the rules you would be banned for a certain amount of time possibly a month depending on the nature of the offense. The second time I would permanently ban the account once again depending on the nature of the offence. My idea of a moderator is someone who is fair, just and unbiast and also anonymous and I believe I can be all those things. I love the site itself and it saddens me when certain players use unjust methods to place higher than the players who play fair. Also I have heard requests from both gpokr and kdice players for more European moderators to cater for their needs and I can certainly fulfill the need in that regard. Therefore for these reasons I believe I would make a good moderator and I would appreciate your response at your nearest convenience.

i dont think you can prove you are reliable over the span of just one months evidence.

compared to the rest of these people who want to mod, you 1) havent played that long, and also 2) dont have a main account that is recognizable, so we dont know if you are trustworthy.

i mean, the fact that your main account now is 'dasfury' takes away a TON as far as anyone wanting to trust you.
