at 12:26 PM, Wednesday October 7, 2009 EDT I also think that certain mods should be given more power(point docking, point resets, ip ban, etc.) However I think that those type of powers should only be given to Ryans most trustworthy moderators, ones who wouldnt abuse it. I know i'm just repeating what others have said but its something that would certainly help moderators do their job

at 12:47 PM, Wednesday October 7, 2009 EDT tater just wants to ban my Thraxle account :P
Jokes aside, tater would be a good mod. He stays away from the schemes and teams and knows the upper tables very well. |

at 12:51 PM, Wednesday October 7, 2009 EDT tater my memory is hazy. i want to say that as a player you were easy to manipulate. not in a bad way, like hey join me and we will fuck shit up, but in an innocent way, like you would be tricked by some of my sly moves and inadvertently give me higher placement than i deserved because you liked me.
but lots of people were like that with me. thrax was great at being manipulated (by me, at least... and again, no offense thrax). that whole new wave of players were so malleable it seemed. you all were so happy that you were finally staying on the high tables that you didnt realize that i was trying to keep you there so that you could unknowingly funnel me more points. i know that sounds like im an ass, but if you were ask several others of the top players, they would agree that that was a viable strategy. hell, it probably still is a viable strategy. when i was playin a couple days ago, i ran into a couple of pga-ish groups, and they both seemed to be controlled by one seemingly-nice dude (Gurgi and Vohaul). all the pawns were making brazen moves to help the leaders, but my guess is they didnt realize how bad they were being used, since they really liked the leader that much. grey area, i know. anyways, thats not much of a negative for you spud. i guess we were all naive/innocent when we first got to the high tables. takes awhile to get to the point that you are unaffected by schmoozing. |

at 12:51 PM, Wednesday October 7, 2009 EDT : ) I wouldnt ban anyone based on previous experiences, even Fiero! haha, I just really am frustrated with the state of the game. I'd rather spend my time helping support the site then competing. Thanx for the support Thrax!
