I would warn you against is being apologetic about playing. (I don't get this vibe from you, but just warning you anyway.) One thing that is a bigger turn-off for most girls than being a geek is not standing up for yourself. Instead say "Yeah, I play that game a lot, and I fucking kick ass at it. Now suck my huge cock." (Ok disregard that, I'm drunk. But apart from that last sentence it's good advise.)

If I were your friend I would briefly mention to her that kdice is not a semi-brainless game like wow, and succeeding at it at your level requires some serious smarts. This is true, but it's difficult to say yourself since it's bragging. If I were you, I would probably just mention that it's an intellectual game as opposed to roleplaying, and then not bring it up anymore.
