So, im going to address a mentality that you have that really pisses me off as not one of the "top players". I feel that the best way to do this is to go through some of your quotes from the ridiculously long forum and explain
Why the hell is this NOT an issue at lower tables? Does it not still "ruin the integrity of the competition"? I used to compete (and it was a challenge and a goal for me) for the top 100 spots. I mostly stayed at 500 tables. Does that mean that cheating and unfair play that happens on the 500 tables doesn't matter because the integrity of my competition doesn't matter? Why is it that integrity need only be found on the top tables???

Ryan: But I'm only concerned that this stays out of the top players. Top players need to be about playing well and not who you know.

Ok, cool, im not a top player, guess it's fine and dandy if I play all about who i know. forget playing well, i dont matter, my competition doesn't matter... i need not have integrity!! PGA FOR ME CUZ IM NOT AT THE TOP!
Let's quote that again "Ryan: But I'm only concerned that this stays out of the top players".

Ryan: KDice is a great game and to take it to the next level the unsportsmanlike personalities need to be gone.

Unless of course you are not at the top. Ryan has made it very clear this issue only matters at the top. In which case, play on all you unsportsmanlike personalities out there! just don't get in the top 20 and you can be a cheater all you want!

Ryan: we want some integrity and those without will get booted.

See above. Does not apply to those ryan finds to be lower.

Ryan: Rigor, if you don't care about being competing for a top spot go play the lower tables and stop worrying about what's fair.

OMG RYAN! Really??? did you seriously just say that? I feel like all of the people that are not the top 50 you have mentioned should be in an uproar. "go play the lower tables and stop worrying about what's fair". Fairness doesn't matter at lower tables. You said it Ryan. Right there. Do we really matter that little to you?? You seem to deem fairness so much (i believe you told mike_mike that the game should be fair over fuN) yet it doesn't matter if the lower tables are unfair. Ok. cool. Thanks for being concerned with the play of the average person.

Ryan: Johnson213, Yes, most people play the game in a good way and the majority don't care about the top players. This whole culture change doesn't have anything to do with the regular player. It's purely about the top players and the integrity of the competition. Most people aren't really competing for a top spot.

Why not? Is it not a problem with the entire culture? Is it really just the elite that cheat? Just because someone has to fight hard to earn 4,000 pts doesn't meant that it isn't a competition to them. Just because someoen doesn't think they can make it to the top (or even want to try), that doesn't mean their competition shouldn't be fair.

Ryan: Do not take your relationships between games. Its fine to be friends, but play the game as a single entity regardless of relationships. Otherwise it's clearly unfair play.

But it's cool people not at the top. We can play unfair, since Ryan doesn't care.

Thank you for making it blatantly clear that you do not care about the vast majority of people that play the game. Thank you for showing that those not fighting for the top 25 don't deserve a fair competition. Good God, no wonder some of the top players are elitist, look at the game creator.

I know a lot of the top players. I like to chat, so I tend to make connections with people quickly. I like to play the game. I like a fair game. But apparently Ryan is "only concerned that this stays out of the top players".

sorry about that....
the first paragraph should finish off:
Explain why you seem like an arrogant prick.

Then this quote should come before my rant:

Ryan: Yeah, shad, thats not the point. The point is that giving favors to players to get return favors in other games is not very sportsmanlike and ruins the integrity of the competition. This is not so important at lower tables but is VERY important at the top tables. Top players should have integrity. When most do it will be enforced through the top player culture. Until them I'm forcing out top players without integrity manually.

Can you summarize this into something that is shorter than a longcat?

Debwa, Ryan can't say this, so I will... You're a childish moron....

Mature people learn quickly that engaging in debate with people like you is pointless. Ryan isn't even responding and you're writing 5 pages of drivel. You obviously think you're so right that no amount of reasoned response would do.

Go program your own game and make your own policies.

Debwa, Ryan is trying to make an example of the top players. Don't take it literally.

yeah... this is sort of like reagans trickle down economics. if you randomly terrorize ipban the top players for anything that resembles a resembleance of a reflection of unfair play, and strike only at tournament play but leave regular games alone, and only strike randomly at offenders at the tourneys.... THEN, the top players will all realize oh shit, were not allowed to use any of our basic strategies any more, the game is meant to be played out by starting luck. if i try to truce #1 who is next to me, that means i am trying to receive a favor from him. if i try to truce #3 and fight against #1, that means i am trying to give a favor to #3, and if i even dare to look at anyone elses screenname before i decide what to do, the space bar on my keyboard will tazer me, and call the canadian brute squad who will pelt me with sacks full of beaver nickels.

once the top players realize this, then they will teach the regular players. trickle down. werent you alive in the 80s?

To nuflis and the trickle down idea:

Ryan: Johnson213, Yes, most people play the game in a good way and the majority don't care about the top players. This whole culture change doesn't have anything to do with the regular player.

? It doesn't sound to me like Ryan is going for an impact on the regular players... since he said it himself

To cleverusername:

Thank you for quickly jumping to a conclusing about my personal character and attacking me as opposed to the idea. Did you even read my "5 pages of drivel"? I'm not trying to be a jerk, I honestly and truly want to point out to Ryan that the things he has been post are insulting to the average players.

How do you know that no reasoned response would appease me? You don't. If Ryan were to come and say "oh man, i didn't mean it like that. I do care about players that aren't on the top. gee, fairness should be on all levels", that would be pretty reasonable. I dont hate Ryan, I dont hate the game, I just want to know why Ryan is saying stuff that implies lower tables need not be fair.

So there's the summary that someone asked for as well
