Hello fellow kdicers. Over the past half year or so I have come to see that people enjoy this game for what it is; a minor distraction with countless fun and intelligent people. But for me it was much more then that. It was an escape. An escape of the harsh realities of myself, being of Afro-American heritage, growing up in a country dominated by the white man. Kdice put me on the same level as everyone else. People from all over the world were even when we were playing this game. It didn't matter what your class, race, or title was on kdice. But the intolerance displayed by not only the kdice minions but by the creator of the game himself is disgusting.
I used the little money I earn at my minimum wage job to donate a little money to the one place where I was found accepted. Yes, I was fully aware that I was buying points. Yes, I knew this would probably put me in the spotlight for a couple days. I saw myself on the end of a few indignant posts. I did not expect, however, my race being brought up. I will spare you the chat logs but rest assured that no amount of apology or bartering will make me comeback to this game. I'm sorry I spent so much time on this site, and i'm sorry that I donated money to you Ryan. I suppose what i'm trying to say is goodbye. I've had a few laughs but nothing is worth this intolerance I have to put up with. |

> ... dude, grow up. this isn't acceptable in any public sphere. not in a coffee shop, not in a public park, not on a mature site. What country are you from gummo? In the US, it's legal in any public sphere, coffee shop and public park to say racist things. It's not generally considered socially acceptable, but you are comparng to Ryan, who's more like the law than society. Don't provide distorted analogies to boost your beliefs. |

So before you start talking about distortion, I'd get your facts right, buster. To get you back on topic, numbskull, we're talking about acceptability. You might find it acceptable, you piece of trash, but quite a few others dont, and we're saying so. |

You made a swipe at someone who was quite simply outraged at racism on this site, and you expect me to believe you dont find racism here acceptable? Fuck off, you moron. |

at 9:24 AM, Sunday July 27, 2008 EDT If by swipe you mean personal attack I've done no such thing. I pointed out his analogy was flawed, which it is.
I don't care if you believe that I believe racism is acceptable. > Fuck off, you moron. You call out racism, but resorting to insults when your ideas are challenged. You are bordering on hypocracy. |

at 10:00 AM, Sunday July 27, 2008 EDT why is his analogy flawed? He said nothing about legality. He mentioned acceptability, which is a different thing completely.

at 5:26 PM, Sunday July 27, 2008 EDT He suggested that Ryan "clean this up". Ryan has already said he doesn't find racism acceptable. So what does "clean this up" mean? I read it to mean he wants people banned for racist comments. Gummo then compared it to shouting racism comments in public places, which doing so will NOT get you banned from those places. Therefore his analogy is flawed.
