at 12:39 PM, Sunday December 5, 2010 EST guys: I propose we drop the .COM for now and focus on the KDICE. Also veta please please.
The white is sometimes less effective than it seems- when zoomed all the way out, you can still read KDICE but it looks a little pinkish instead of bright red. WHEN YOU ARE PICKING YOUR RED: I recommend trying to move the color picker all the way to the right then the slider close to the middle so you get a nice bright cherry red. |

at 12:46 PM, Sunday December 5, 2010 EST Tutorial:
Sorry, I posted a few pages back but didn't explain much. 1) Download and install AutoHotKey: http://www.autohotkey.com/ 2) Copy this: #NoEnv ; Recommended for performance and compatibility with future AutoHotkey releases. SendMode Input ; Recommended for new scripts due to its superior speed and reliability. SetWorkingDir %A_ScriptDir% ; Ensures a consistent starting directory. #p::Pause #x::ExitApp #space:: MouseGetPos, baseX, baseY SetMouseDelay, 100 curX = baseX curY = baseY x = 0 y = 0 loop 15 { loop 15 { curX := baseX + x curY := baseY + y Click, %curX%, %curY% x := x + 30 sleep 40 } x := 0 y := y + 30 } 3) Paste it into a new file named circles.ahk or whatever you want, just make sure the extension is .ahk 4) Right click on file -> run script I have it set to use Windows key+SPACE as the default keystroke to set it off. Windows Key + X to exit Windows Key + P to pause 5) Load drawball, move the mouse to the top left of the circle, hit Windows+SPACE 6) I don't have the color gradient in that one above because it only works on my screen size, I'm working on getting it to work on any size screen but it's taking a while. at 12:53 PM, Sunday December 5, 2010 EST it should, obviously changing the file type is harder than just renaming it. i'm sure you can figure it out though, it's .ahk btw.

at 1:15 PM, Sunday December 5, 2010 EST THANK YOU!
For those of us who are a little more tech challenged, a few more details about how I did this: I downloaded the regular installer and opened the sample script when it asked me to then copied the given text over the sample, saved it as a .ahk and then opened my docs. Right click on the document you saved (mine is dots.ahk) and click on run script. Then in drawball click near the top left of the circle you're working in, press windows+space and let it go. Don't forget to pick red :) A couple notes: The square will make a mostly solid square with the largest pen. This square is a little wider than the width of our letters, which isn't ideal, but it's way better than hand inking. Someone will have to touch up the outlines by hand. |
