there should be a follow up thread to this posted like a day or two later... i think the title had 'bug' in it. this episode was the results of said bug.

bug was, if you sit in table, and close window, you automatically unsit.

BUT

if you sit in table, then go sit in another table, then close window, you only automatically unsit from your current table, not your original one.

thus das and i both sat 5k, waited for a game to start that never did, went and played 2k, or 1k, or whatever the next table level down was in december 2007. and kept playin a few more games, while still being sat at an empty 5k. when we closed windows, we thought we would auto-leave-seat from the 5k. but we didnt.

who changed my av to will pga for elo? that was funny. almost as good as when XC hacked the top 25 avs.

moral of the story: dont pga das or you lose 2200 points.
