As we wrap up the first quarter of kdice competition under the current scoring rules, I want to give recognition to kdice players of superior skill, especially those who are more recent arrivals to the game. At the end of May I will make a listing of TAPL scorers in three catagories:
1. Top TAPL scorers among players who began playing kdice in May. 2. Top TAPL scorers among players who have been playing kdice since April. 3. Top TAPL scorers among players who have been playing kdice since the scoring change and reset of the Elo's in February. The TAPL is explained in the comment at my profile page. The TAPL and this competition have no official endorsement from Ryan. To qualify for the competition, you must have played at least 35 games. To enter the competition, make a post to this thread. I will reply with a computation of your current lifetime TAPL. At the end of the month I will work up the lifetime TAPL's for all the contests and award certificates. I don't have fancy graphics capabilities like Ryan has for the trophies, but I will issue a certificate that looks like this: 5684 ∫ 1st.∫∫∫ A 3-month TAPL in the 5000's is likely to have a good finish, a 2-month TAPL in the 2000's is a good score, and a 1-month TAPL in the 1000's means you have a good shot for the top spot. |

at 4:29 AM, Tuesday May 29, 2007 EDT this is very retarded -- a strong indicator being that femme fatale was a statistical leader in anything that didn't involve the words "strategic" or "blunder" -- but that being said, it makes me sad that a site built on Google web toolkit has 72 posts on this topic without a SINGLE mention that you should use google spreadsheet instead of all that excel nonsense!

You rescued the thread...this thread might take second place in number of posts after the thread on PGA's. Your total games played, lifetime profile, and lifetime TAPL are: 744 12% 15% 20% 17% 10% 11% 12% 4372 CaptSundrop: 188 19% 22% 11% 11% 11% 11% 11% 1799 ChewEmUp:Thanks for the tip. No reason why Excel users should be the only recipients of my beneficence! |

It is unethical for me to bump my own thread. When people stop responding to a thread, it should go to well-deserved oblivion. |

i did it for a purpose, namely "Your total games played, lifetime profile, and lifetime TAPL are: 744 12% 15% 20% 17% 10% 11% 12% 4372" mission accomplished |
