TAPL = 100*X *[(p1-.14)squared/.14+(p2-.14)squared/.14+(p3-.14)squared/.14 + (p4 - .14)squared/.14+(p5-.14)squared/.14+(p6-.14)squared/.14+(p6-.14)squared/.14] where X is the number of games p1, p2, p3, are percentages of firsts, seconds, thirds, etc. expressed as decimals. Note that all the .14s in the equation are decimals. If you use integers instead of decimals, take out all the decimal points from the .14’s and take out the 100. Here is your TAPL for April for 87 games: TAPL = 87 * 100 * [.06squared/.14 + 0squared/.14 + .03squared/.14 + .03squared/.14 + .01squared/.14 + .05squared/.14 + .02squared/.14] = 522. |

You could be facing better opponents. 3. You could be trading off one kind of skill for another. 4. The inventor of TAPL needs to find something better to do. |
