I do however (from observation) know when a player is subtly suggesting a truce. This is sometimes done without even an exchange on chat (although in this case there was) Rather than getting annoyed and frustrated by this (as I used to) why not try and learn from it, it actually creates a whole new layer to the game which u may be missing.
