Not only did i never backstab you, but i carried you to third, at which point i attacked brown as much as i possibly could and went 2 for 15 while he was able to chase you down and kill you. I did everything i could to help you as my ally, and we got unlucky. The fact that you turn around and bitch about it is quite pathetic

rerrr on Monday March 31, 2008 Like many of the top players, Pat has his own rules, which he enforces whenever he is in first. Like many of the top players, he holds grudges and remembers loyalty. Like many of the top players, Pat also loses sight of long-term loyalty or fair play when faced with short-term disloyalty or breaking of his rules.
When combined, these are not necessarily 'fair' traits. And CLEARLY, whether by causation or just correlation, that behavior set is shared amongst top players.
That said, so long as a player can explain her rules clearly when pressed, that behavior set is not disingenuous or inherently poor play, altho it can come across as exceedingly arrogant.
Recently Pat has become less able, or perhaps ultimately unable, to define his own ruleset, and for that unforgivable offense, lost at least my respect.
.3rdbase. on Monday March 31, 2008 YOU WILL WANT TO READ WHOLE THING IF YOU DISLIKE PAT WHALEN!!!!!!!so the game started off crappy for me and PAT(teal), we both survived in a corner with me around him. we truced so we could live and that was my biggest mistake of all. after a while of getting some AMAZINGLY LUCKY ROLLS to stay alive i had 6 territories and PAT(teal) also with me being on the outside. i got upto about 8 after a long string of good luck and browns long string of bad rolls for offense and defense. then i let PAT hit my left guy so he could help. thats all he needed to get out was just one, which put me down to 7. after that things went downhill. me and browns luck stayed the same with both of us having 7 territories then PAT kills one of my guys because he said and i quote " it just looks wierd, only that one, dont worry" now im down to 6 and having to wait a turn to attack while brown destroyed me. i asked for help from teal and he said, and i quote,"but he never attacked me," WTF kind of logic is that PAT WHALEN. i ended up getting NEGATIVE 210 all because PAT IS A HORRIBLE PERSON TO TRUCE WITH. NEVER MAKE A TRUCE WITH. THATS WHY HE HAS SOOOOOOO MANY POINTS. HE LETS YOU THINK YOUR TRUCED THEN STABS YOU IN THE BACK. I have played this game for 3 months now and have encountered a lot of bad kdicers and made a lot of bad truces that bit me in the ass but, PAT WHALENS truce with me will go down as the worst one i ever made. KILL AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!
