Each color usually (but not always)has a particular pip arrangement (a different number of pips on top). Except for red and green, which have a single pip on top. Great for red-green color blind people. For some reason, occasionally the pip arrangement will be different for the same color. I just saw two green stacks in the same game, one with one pip and one with three pips on top. Also, brown, one with three and one with five.
Jockeys wear different colors and they also wear different patterns. Why not the same with the dice?

The problem with choosing your own colors is it will be really confusing in the chat box.

i think they all look good how they are - black would be weird - and dark grey would look like the neutrals.

If the 7 colours also varied by brightness and saturation, it will probably make them more easily distinguished for colorblind users.

This would save the UI overhead needed to allow user-definable colors.

yeah pleace change the military colours to more different colours as we know from the single dicewar flashgame

why not make grey the 7th "colour" and use white as neutral? or vice versa?

Yes, I'm colorblind too. Some pattern on the land could really help.

I am colorblind and read the numbers on the dice. the numbers correspond to the seat positions, with the first position being zero.

I'm not colorblind and sometimes I get the colors confused.

The brownish/yellow and brownish/orange alway confuse me. Sometimes blue/teal, and purple/red to a lesser extent.

I think that the thing that throws me off the most is they look a lot different when they're grayed out.

I played Dicewars before I found this, and I always found it much easier to differentiate the colors there.
