at 3:16 PM, Thursday February 22, 2007 EST Each color usually (but not always)has a particular pip arrangement (a different number of pips on top). Except for red and green, which have a single pip on top. Great for red-green color blind people. For some reason, occasionally the pip arrangement will be different for the same color. I just saw two green stacks in the same game, one with one pip and one with three pips on top. Also, brown, one with three and one with five.
Jockeys wear different colors and they also wear different patterns. Why not the same with the dice? |

at 1:20 AM, Thursday January 3, 2008 EST If the 7 colours also varied by brightness and saturation, it will probably make them more easily distinguished for colorblind users.
This would save the UI overhead needed to allow user-definable colors. |

at 6:11 PM, Monday January 14, 2008 EST I'm not colorblind and sometimes I get the colors confused.
The brownish/yellow and brownish/orange alway confuse me. Sometimes blue/teal, and purple/red to a lesser extent. I think that the thing that throws me off the most is they look a lot different when they're grayed out. I played Dicewars before I found this, and I always found it much easier to differentiate the colors there. |
