brianbor: you were in the way
scorp888: I wondered how you managed to get 252 points
scorp888: cheating explains it
scorp888: why are you attacking green instead of purple?
brianbor: we're pals
scorp888: which in this game counts as cheating..

try and get some mods?

Nothing....nada zip, so what was the point of having mods?

Alright, you guys asked for it. I'm hunting down the first huge PGA thread. You'll see.

Nobody is going to do anything to stop PGAs. If you want to play at the big tables, you better make some friends.

I do not condone this behavior, but it is a reality. The mods are not allowed to do anything about open blatant pregame alliances. Watch any game at a 10k table and almost every game at 2500 to find the evidence.

I recommend just having fun playing fair and being happy to play at the lower lever tables.

1) Mods aren't here to stop cheating, thats my job.

2) People need to get over criticizing mods. They are generous and volunteering their time. They don't HAVE to do anything for you.

3) Don't listen to leekstep. Let me know about a PGA through email and I'll keep my eye on them. I reset their points to 0 when I catch them.

Uh, les you already said that. You can't defend your pathetic ability to play with double posting.

oh and you look a little more pathetic when you post behind an account that averages only 5 games per month.

Did Ryan just call les out on double posting only to double post himself?

I think this is a good time to talk about a more standard forum base Ryan, something with an edit button and forward and back links at the top and bottom of the forum. Maybe phbb, or vbulletin I don't know.

On topic, PGA's suck, but the social nature of the game will always be affected by human nature to be be more friendly to your friends then to people yo do not know.

The thing that bugs me most about these players is they try to blur the line between friends and cheating. Basically they're a bunch of desperate idiots that try to validate their pathetic group tactics by saying everyone does it. No, 95% of the people that play this game love the game and want to enjoy it, not some pga point factory bullshit.

Yes, this is a social game and we build relationships that will affect how we play. But ultimately we play as individuals to win. These other guys, of whom there are very few they just like creating lots of accounts so that it looks like more people share their opinions, will play against everyone else to make their friend win - essentially voiding their friend's ability to play. The line here is obvious and we all see it - don't listen to these idoits or their fake accounts.
