at 5:11 PM, Sunday May 18, 2008 EDT You do not need to start a new thread just to point everyone's attention to a CURRENT thread, that's rather childish.
Say what you need to say in the original post. |

at 5:16 PM, Sunday May 18, 2008 EDT ok i hear you. but that's not what i intended to do. anyways.
-i do have a question. is this consider a warning from you as a mod? or is it just a friendly reminder? -is it prohibited to start a new topic on similar or same topics? e.g. PGA discussion, Flag discussion, questions to the mod, etc. is it against the 'common sense' rule on kdice? will you punish people for that? please understand i am not trying to be difficult. i just want to be clear what i can or cannot do as there are not much information that i can rely on. i put this on you since you are the first mod to revel himself. i dont know any other mods. i love kdice too much. i do care.......... |

I know you're not trying to be a pain in the ass with these posts but you should keep in mind that cleaning things up is a sincere a delicate effort. Criticizing the process this early and claiming kdice to be dead is a little alarmist. This is the web, so have some fun and don't take things so seriously. |

at 10:28 PM, Sunday May 18, 2008 EDT LKTD, with all due respect, why not just shut up for a while? With any new system, the kinks have to be worked out in order for it to run smoothly. Give it some time.
With regard to Grun, I believe he is turning out to be just about a perfect moderator. He warns, he explains himself and he takes appropriate and not excessive action when necessary. If only Ryan could clone Grun, the Kdice world would be vastly improved. Keep it up Grun. I, for one, support you and your moderate approach to moderating. |

at 10:35 PM, Sunday May 18, 2008 EDT dont make me a public enemy.
what i am trying to do is to voice my concern so that the process can improve and eventually run smoothly. to me, having to put up with abusive behaviour or chat (like calling someone a faxxot, nixxer, take ALL the fun from the game. but if the mod decided that calling someone a nixxer once or twice is ok here, then so be it. |

at 11:03 PM, Sunday May 18, 2008 EDT Racism is no less offensive than sexism which is no less offensive than any other ism you care to name. Calling someone a nigger, or a cracker, or a jap, or a kike, or a kraut, or a pinko, or a bitch, or a fag, or a cunt, or any other epithet is certainly offensive and such behavior is undefensible. But, as Ryan himself has stated in a prior post, things get said in the heat of the moment which are offensive, but which do not necessarily constitute "criminal" offenses. I do not think that anyone is blameless when it comes to this issue. Let Ryan and the mods develop their own system of protocols to deal with those individuals who demonstrate a pattern of unacceptable abuse. And let us all try to consider the source, when such abuse is aimed at us. After all, the person who flings such crap only demeans and soils himself or herself. You can only be injured by words if you choose to allow yourself to be.
