OK.

I LOVE this game, just like hart.....and I find there are a few demographs that the players fit in...which are you?

- Obsessive Compulsive Trucer. You know the one, it's the second round, and they ask someone over the other side of the 'pitch' for a truce!

- Chatterbox. Loves to mix it up in the chat. Usually complete nonesense, but great sense of humour (um, guess which I am...Enzo, don't tell them!)

- Intellectual. They are easily discerned by resorting to playground, pottymouth name calling when someone takes their territory.

- The Vulture. They usually get beaten really early, then hang around in the chat heckling the player that took their final territory, and trying to encourage the others to gang up on them - you know what i mean....'go on, attack her green....she is exposed now'

- The Softy. They always apologise for taking your territory....love them!

Well, these are just a couple. Throw in your own demographs of players you have come across - could become a 'badge of honour' or a style that you enter the battle with!!

Love Ya....China

Other than that, I think the good old schema of Richard Bartle also applies to kdice well, alough he did it back then for MUDs

http://www.mud.co.uk/richard/hcds.htm

Short for his 4 types of players:
Archievers: score, score, score!
Socials: talk, interacting, making friends
Explorers: Want to understand every game detail mechanic.
Player Killers: well explains itself, you know them, do you? Having fun killing others.

Beside that, most of these ideal player types do things as well that don't fit directly into their style. But all they do, is at last goaled to their style. So socials e.g. go for score as well, to be able to interact and make friends in more than newbie areeas. Also do explorers go for scores, to be able to explore more things. etc.

"chatterbox softy" is obviously a socialiser in the bartles schema.

-The Luck Sack
You know him, throws his 2 dice against your 5 stack and wins, everytime. His 8v8 % is 70%.

you forgot the truce breaker, someone who breakes truces and screws your whole game. Usually a player higher than 1500 rank on the noob tables who befriends people to truce. They then waits to better their position at the trucers expense (i.e. Indiaan)at the worst possible time...

Ah, depends on my mood. I can be stoic, I can chatter. I've even run on a gimmick before.

I dunnow. I like to consider myself an intellectual but was hardly able to grasp your definition of it. I like to fool around too and I understand the definition of chatterbox so you could classify me as a chatterboxer.

I will declare I WAS (or may continue to be) everything everyone has said except a truce breaker and an obsessive compulsive trucer. I'm a Social Chatterbox Vulture with a tendency to Softy and a developed Explorer Intellectual Player Killer, with a Luck Sack on the side. :) Maybe I'll play again someday

I am a beast at kdice.

Where is the - Beast. option?

Well, I guess you're right to not put it up there as a choice, seeing as I am the only such person to have that playstyle.

I am a beast at kdice.
