Alliances instead of flagging for place

I've noticed an unfortunate trend in KDice strategy since the inception of the new flagging system. It seems that many players feel entitled to a particular place when flagging for that place.

People simply do not play to the end of the game anymore. Weak players in weak positions flag high in a hope that the flag is honored, even though it is obvious that the inflated high position is not deserved.

First position has turned into some sort of "god" position. Weak players pander to the player in first place instead of banding together in an alliance and taking over that first place.

These sorts of alliances between the weak against the strong used to be commonplace, but not anymore. In a recent game, I was called an idiot for even suggesting it. Somebody did in fact join me, and we ended up getting 1st and 2nd instead of the 3rd and 4th, or even lower, that would have resulted had we not allied ourselves.

In short - don't be afraid to attack the strong. Form alliances with your fellow weak players. Go for first place.

Quit being such pussies.
