Turns happen clockwise. If you play green, you will always follow red. Purple follows green, yellow follows purple, blue follows yellow, brown follows blue, teal follows brown, and red follows teal.

Kdice picks a random color to move first, but moves always happen in this order, just with a different starting color.

For example, suppose Green gets the first move. Then, if you're playing Red, you know that you will play last.

By paying attention to who you move after (and who you move before), you can move while trying to take into account what your opponents might do. I hope this helps, as I'm posting this as a strategy because I read all the guides and never saw this mentioned.
