This won't prevent people from colluding via AIM or other outside messaging protocols.

Besides, I would prefer to know in the chat box who is going to gang up and hurt me. A few games ago, two nice fellows (Dutch I think?) had a nice gentlemen's agreement to wipe the board. Table talk in real board games is the best, so I expect it here too.

I see the point about cheating, but there's a difficulty with this in that it's now impossible to compete with any of my roomies... when we're working off one internet router.
