at 4:05 PM, Tuesday December 26, 2006 EST This new idea should make it easier to fill tables and to start games, then the current table and min score system. It should even be fairer. Instead of sitting down, you just request a game. e.g. a "I'm ready to play" button. Then the server checks at regular intervals (e.g. 30 seconds, 60 seconds, whatever), and assigns similar scored players to tables. It build 7-blocks of players, people that get not an table assigned are flagged to get a table more likely at the next check. This would also enhance fairness, as most similar scored people play together. And it would hinder people playing with friends beforehand. A definitive "unfair" advantage. Oh yes, it would be more likely to be accepted when there would no negative scores, so people can't complain "well i get a table assigned with too low people for my likely and then they steal my score, because they played better :o)" |
