I know this would change the gameplay too much, and wont be done. I nevertheless just wanted to write the idea down ;o)

Every player gets at the beginn of the game a secret enemy assigned by random. In total it's a chain, so every1 got one enemy assigned, and is gotten assigned by someone else.

If the secret enemy die's the mission of that player is revealed, and he gets X (whatever number is suitable for balance at the time of the game) dice assigned extra.

Would make more dynamic gameplay ;o) Especially socially ;)

very good idea, it makes it more complex, more risk-like and much more fun!

id remember this idea for a time this community has grown large enough to sustain modificated tables with enough players. for the time being i'd rather drop it. as you say it erik. more risk like... thats not a pro here but a contra.

i like the game just the way it is. what if you form an alliance with the person who's got you as his target? you risk more on the lands adjacent to his, and when you're weak, he strikes and not only kills you, making his empire expand alot more, but also gets so many extra dice, making him so much stronger as well. The other players wouldn't stand a chance anymore.
