Being nr 1 I have no reason to play really. Same goes for the top 5 in a way. SO little to gain, so much to lose. Only problkem is, I have no clear idea on the incentive. Any ideas?

You dont really gain anything from that rankings.

Unranked tables could solve this ;)
If you don't have incentive to play for rank, then just play some for fun :)

Sure Grid I know. And my rank does not stop me from playing. But sometimes I rather play with my other account because there I actually have something to gain. Especially when not many other high ranked players are there.

I can't remember how Battle.net solved this problem (high ranked players discouraged from playing lower ranks due to potential huge drop in rank). Would be worth looking into...
