Team play module

After playing this addicting game for a while, I would like to compliment Ryan with such an awesome game that happens to be free! It amazes me of the arrogance of some players out there who sometimes forget this. Anyway, my idea stems from the inevitable accusations that arise every day about truces, alliances, pgas and the heated discussions that follow. I will have to say that for lack of a better term, the favoritism that naturally occurs once players become familiar with one another is inevitable. To satisfy this inherent game flaw for experienced players, Kdice should have an area where teams can play one another. Of course, the number of players would have to be even(2v2 or 3v3)for teams to work.

For the newbie, individual play is a great way to learn strategy. However, for experienced players, this game is frustraing to say the least if your are not running with "the in crowd". The arrogance and self- serving immature bullying that occurs at the higher level tables is rediculous. It's as if some players believe that they are gods. It's absolutely astonishing the control that takes place in some rooms. So anyway, to prevent this behavior from causing dissent among honest, non-allied players, team play would be awesome. This would take Kdice to a new level. Kdice could becaome an awesome team play event that would squash all the talk about pgas.

So Ryan, I know that the programming might take some time. But I would pay for this game on a monthly basis if this feature was enabled.

Anyway, just food for thought.

i dont know how great teams will be on gpokr or xsketch. but teams on kdice is the future of kdice thats for surrrre. ryan to add to your rules i think, i dont know for sure if this will work, but i think when in game, the teams act as one. so connecting to your teammate actually helps you, and vice. so kinda like you are all acting as one color. i think the maps would have to be much larger for this. and i dont know if it would work at all. but its a thought. and every individual team member could have some sort of pattern on their own colors. so like my team of 3 might be blue teal and brown but on the map it shows the colors as well as say horizontal stripes or what have you. i guess this would only really matter if the connecting and profiting idea catches on. which i doubt. but either way it would be fun to have a visual of your clan on the map. okay long sorry i would love for this to actually happen

I think a public PGA is just as legitimate as a round 1 or round 50 truce. As long as all the participants know there is collusion, then they have the ability to respond competitively.

I think you should have the team players wear flags to identify themselves. Fantstic idea to preserve competitive integrity of the game.

Just a word about truces... sometimes truces are vital to both players survival. For example, I was purp and I had to ally with green in turn 3 or 4 in order for anyone of us to have a chance later. We ended up taking 1 and 2 (I flagged for 2, because he did better). Also, I think truces should only be formed when both players will honor them.

This does not mean I'm for PGA. I find PGA ridiculous. Although in tournaments, I find it acceptable to ally against people who are higher in position than you or threatened you position. For example, when 1st place is at 1000 and 2nd place is at 400, first place is going to get targeted early game.
