I think the general response is that is is too popular at certain times of the day. Try other times.

There may also be bugs that need fixing, but the user population has gone through the roof since the site was on Digg a few days back. It'll die down soon enough, if the lag keeps up. It's kinda like a self-regulating mechanism..... ;-)
